Monument to the Glory of Cavalry and Horse Artillery Battle of Komarov
The Monument to the Glory of the Cavalry and Horse Artillery is being built in our studio since 2019.
We present a few photos of the work in progress on the creation of the monument.

Brief history:
In 1936, the Committee for the Construction of the Monument to the Glory and Horse Artillery was established, which was to be built from Wolnica Śniatycka. In the same year a competition was announced for the design of the monument. The competition was won by architect Boris Zinselring. The author of the monument at Olszynka Grochowska.
World War II thwarted the plans. In communist Poland both the history of the battle and the monument were forbidden topics. In the 80’s the community of Komarov commemorated the battle with a monument.
The initiative to rebuild the monument came to life in 2006. History enthusiasts began the search for documentation. The search was unsuccessful, therefore sketches were created by Veronika Kobylinska and Tomasz Dudek...
The monument was designed by Tomasz Dudek and Konrad Gluchowski, and the sculptures were created by Tomasz Radziewicz and Artur Wochniak.
