Emma Winemaker
“The statue of Emma the winemaker in Zielona Gora came from the hand of Artur Wochniak. It was unveiled in Zielona Gora on August 25, 2023, as part of the celebration of the 800th anniversary of Zielona Gora and the 700th anniversary of the granting of its city rights. The statue is a reconstruction (though not a copy) of the pre-war statue of Emma the winemaker created in 1937.”
