Monument to Blessed Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski
A life-size statue of Blessed Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski by Tadeusz Sagan stood in Manieczki in December 2020 just before Christmas.

The decision to create the monument was made because of the cardinal’s invaluable contribution to teaching and leading the Polish nation.
Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski Primate of the Millennium was a remarkable figure of the Polish church. A great friend and teacher of Pope John Paul II, who wrote this about the cardinal in 1978:
” There would not be on the See of Peter this Pope Polish
[...] if it were not for your faith, not retreating from imprisonment and suffering, your heroic hope, your entrustment without rest to the mother church.”
