Masks
‘Masks’ sculpture by Anna Bem Borucka. Cast in bronze with patina in a beautiful color of noble gray with a touch of green.
The mask does not hide. She reveals the lack of. Lack of eyes – because the truth does not need sight. No mouth – because the lie has already closed it. A crack instead of a nose – because only through the wound does air enter.
It’s not a face. It’s A mirror that refuses to reflect.
