Bust of general Stefan Hubicki was commissioned by the Military Medical Training Center. Brig. Gen. dr. med. Stefan Hubicki in Łódź.
The height of the sculpture is 110 cm. The author is Marcin Mielczarek, who chose the beautiful red-red color of the patina. The bust was created in 2018.

“Gene. brig. Dr. med. Stefan HUBICKI was a person of particular merit for the Armed Forces and state defense. He graduated from medical studies at the University of Warsaw, and in 1925 he defended his doctoral thesis.
During the Polish-Soviet war in 1920, he was the Head of the Sanitary Service of several tactical and operational unions. For his bravery and dedication he received the highest state and military decorations, including the Virtuti Militari Cross V class, the Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta, class IV, the Cross of Independence with Swords and the Cross of Valor.
With the establishment of institutional forms of education for military medical services in independent Poland, he was actively involved in the process of their organization and functioning, including the Military Sanitary School established in 1922, of which he became the Commander.
After the establishment of the Sanitary Officers School in 1926-1928, he was its Commander, and after changing the name to the Sanitary Officers’ School – he commanded the school until September 30, 1929. On January 1, 1928, the President of the Republic of Poland, Ignacy Mościcki, promoted him to the rank of Brigadier General. He was the author of many scientific works on military medicine. “
