A mock-up of the church in Bagrovo

The church in the village of Bagrovo stood as early as the 16th century (an entry in the Liber beneficiorum of 1510). Since 1677 the church was run by the Poznan Franciscans. They renovated the temple in 1682.
In 1751 a new, present temple was built and consecrated in 1752. It is built in a log structure on a brick foundation. The polygonal closed chancel is lower than the nave with an added brick sacristy. To the west, the nave is adjoined by a tower of pole construction with a flat roof. The interior is decorated with antique furnishings. The profiled rainbow beam dates from the second half of the 15th century. Other buildings date to the 17th and 18th centuries.
In 1822 the Franciscans left the parish. The tower was lowered in 1937[2]. A major renovation of the tower, roof, walls and woodwork was carried out in 2011. At that time the area around the church was meliorated and fenced, and a granite processional lane (sidewalk) was laid. The parish has a population of 98 and is the smallest in Poland.
